El Lagar is a recreational area, camping ground and also where camps for young people are held.
Las Hayas (or El Pino de la Pipa), is another camping and recreational area, it is reached from Icod by Barrio Redondo, following a trail. To be able to stay overnight, a permission from th e Vice Council of the Environment is necessary.
